Wow man I've been buying this ridiculous powerball on every ticket for days.. Yesterday 908 was drawn. I had 708 plus the powerball (so being a somewhat logical person) I think to myself Ah cool the powerball replaces the 9 "I bet that's like $50"... Nope definitely not. Hi, Michael! Fireball is an add-on for our Pick 3 and Pick 4 games only, it wouldn't be able to replace a drawn number from Powerball. The Powerball number is just the 6th number drawn in each drawing. Hope this helps to clarify!

This game is awful. Tonight (10/17), I played 203 any way with the fireball. 360 with a fireball of 2 came out. If I understand the rules and payout the number 2 could replace the number 6, making the number 320. If I played 203 any way with the fireball, it seems I should have gotten a payout of $30 since I played for $1 ($2 including fireball). However, scanning my ticket, it says I didn't win a prize. Hey there, Takia! Which play style did you choose? If you played Exact, you would need to match the numbers in the exact order with the Fireball, so it would have needed to be 203 with the Fireball added in.

Hey there, Chalonda! With Fireball, you are still trying to match one of the lottery-drawn combinations, but the Fireball can replace any of the lottery-drawn numbers. So you could also make the combinations 4-5-6, 1-4-6, or 1-5-4. If you had any of those combinations, your ticket would be a winner. However, the Fireball cannot replace your played numbers, so your 1-1-6 would not match any of the drawn combinations. Hope this helps to clarify!

Since you had a 6 in your combination, you were unable to match the drawn numbers in any order, including with Fireball substitutions (you could make the additional combos of 3-3-2-3 and 1-3-3-3). Hey Denver. As you note, the lottery drawn numbers were "4-8-4" and the Fireball was "4". This means the Fireball winning combinations for that draw are "4-8-4", "4-4-4" and "4-8-4". Your numbers of "8-8-4" and "4-8-7" would not have won. The Fireball only replaces the lottery-drawn numbers, not the numbers on your ticket.

Do not like this Fireball there are not more ways of winning this way. The one off gave you more chances of winning. I played the last several days and I feel like I just threw my money away I will not check the fireball box from here on out I will just play my regular number Pick 3 or Pick 4. Out of all the numbers that has come out the last few days if I had one off option I would have won money both days. I know we can't have a say in what we want but I do have a say and what I spend and it won't be on fireball.

Hi James, the lottery drawn numbers were "4-8-4" and the fireball was "4". This means the Fireball winning combinations were "4-8-4" "4-4-4" and "4-8-4". The fireball replaces each lottery-drawn number to form 3 additional winning combinations. In this draw that means there were two combinations that were the same as the base draw numbers. If a player had a $1 "4-8-4" exact ticket, they would win the base numbers for $500 and then two sets of the Fireball numbers for $180 each. In total that ticket would have won $860.
